The hosts were sincere and lovely. It's a true simple get away you can take even in poor weather because one can reach nearby towns easily or just sit n read. We definitely will make effort to go back. Very friendly, welcoming owner. Newly renovated and modern bedrooms and bathrooms - excellent. Very quiet location in small village just outside Xanten. No restaurants or cafes in village out of season, but only short drive to Xanten where there are dozens.
