  We liked the castle and the view was amazing from the restaurant at night. It was a very clean and up to date room. Very beautiful. I liked the spa and sauna. It was nice to see the museum/prison before it closed. We had one waitress that spoke English and she was very good. - What a super location, in the hills overlooking the Eder Dam. Obvio... what people say » usly easy to find! Staff all very friendly, and spoke good English (I know I must do better with my German). Great meal in the restaurant.

  We stayed in the apartments next to the hotel, spacious, nice balcony with furniture, nice bed, kitchenette. Good breakfast, availability of lunchbags. The location is high on hill, but there is an elevator from the Edersee to Waldeck that also takes your bike. - It's wonderful place, and very cute and cozy hotel.
