Our room was fabulous and very clean. It had a nice shower and a bathtub(!), plus a hair drier and magnifying mirror for makeup. The room and bath had many shelves and towel rods for laying your stuff out and staying organized. Bed very comfortable. Pay for the parking behind hotel. Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Excellent location!! Hope to stay here again some day.all reviews
Great welcome from the owner. After a long drive, help with our luggage was much appreciated. Staff were very pleasant and courteous throughout our stay.The place was clean and neat as a German pin. The location was outstanding for shopping and local sites. Urike was a helpful manager.We had a nice room, comfortable, and clean. Staff was friendly. Location is great for visiting the historical Porta Nigra. The bandb was great!! Location was right in the middle of town where wewanted to be and the staff were wonderful.Everything! Trier is a lovely city.I liked everything, the hotel staff was nice and very helpful (I was cold and hungry when I came, but I got my tea quite quickly and a nice lady at the reception ordered a meal for me); the wireless internet, which is for free; the room was quite spacious with a comfortable bed... Next time I'm in Trier I will stay there too.The staff was very friendly and helpful; they spoke to us in English and made everything very easy. The hotel offers basic but clean and comfortable central accommodation at a very inexpensive rate. But, hey they had parking and it was right at the hotel.The only thing that made our stay a little difficult was the noise. This particular hotel is on a street with row-type houses and the street noise echoed up to the room. We were able to block the noise with the windows closed and I suspect that a room opposite the street side would have been a little quieter. It was still a lovely stay.Room was very nice but felt stuffy even with the window open. Not sure why.As the weather was hot during our stay, it would have been nice to have air conditioning or an overhead fan. However this is only a nice to have, it did not spoil our stay.If anything the view was towards what looked like another apartment/hotel block. This may be an unfair comment as this hotel had to compete with some spectacular views that we had in other hotels.The heater was failure during my stay and the electric radiator is not very useful to warm the room.Street noise. 1. Improve ventilation in the rooms. 2. Put bigger TV. 3. Replace the showers.Bed too soft - one of us had to sleep on pull out bed. Breakfast basic.
