Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Black Forest. Exceptionally clean B & B (not really a hotel). Even got a tourist card for free train/bus travel and entrance to a variety of attractions. Really good sized room with plenty of storage and a nice view. Couple of armchairs, coffee table, tea making facilities and a desk. Free Wi-Fi (a must these days!) Excellent bathroom/shower facilities. No restaurant but the breakfast was presented very well in a lovely conservatory. Continental wi.
all reviews » We stayed for two nights with another couple, we chose the only two Jr Suites that are located on the top floor of the Chalet style hotel. It was beautiful! Large room with a comfortable king bed love seat and two comfortable chairs, flat screen TV, in room safe, beautiful bathroom with shower and best of all was the view. Breakfast was delicious with cooked to order eggs and everything else you could possibly want. The Hosts were friendly, helpful and very detail oriented. We loved everyt. we liked and loved very much this hotel , the atencion we get from the staff (all of them) they were very helpfull ,pleasant and nice for us for all our requests..we loved the new disign, the view from the hotel, the breakfast and all. we like to recommend for all our friends and to anyone this nice and lovely hotel... i would like to pass our massage to mr. gerard.and thanks to make us a good and nice time in schonach... bergh hotel schiller are a really pearl place for all and for lovers. This small hotel was in a lovely location being close to the Forest yet close enough to the town. The staff were very helpful and we had a most enjoyable stay. The hotel provided free passes to the local amenities including to Germany's highest waterfalls at nearby Triberg. The room was spotlessly clean and had lovely views. The breakfasts were exceptional, each being individually cooked to order. Our room was huge (room 2). We had our 9 month old along and there was plenty of room for her travel crip. The minibar and fridge was nice to have. Here was also a hotpot, table for two and TV. Breakfast was good, no hot food but that is very European. We liked the small town is was located in, got food Togo from the Italian place. The staff is the first thing that I need to mention: They're all incredibly friendly and helpful. Any questions we had were answered and tons of advice on restaurants, trails, day trips, and hiking areas was given with a smile. The breakfast was great! Such a beautiful room to eat in and the cook will make fresh, scrambled eggs!. This was a wonderful place to stay! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The rooms were large and clean. Beautiful hotel situated in a scenic location. The room we had was big but very cozy and comfortable. The staff were very personable, warm and helpful. Your accomodation comes with discounts to museums as well as free transport to nearby towns. My friend and I wish we could have stayed longer. A very quaint lovely place to stay. We walked out and went to the Italian down the road!. nothing to say.... The hotel did not have a restaurant for evening meals which meant travelling to nearby facilities to eat. However, this did ensure we were able to sample the local cuisine at source, which was very enjoyable. Our room was right next to the front desk so we could hear everything. Luckily there aren't to many rooms and we were up early due to the baby so it didn't disrupt out sleeping. Nothing!. Nothing, it was great!. You'd need to have a car to go there. We went to Triberg (about 4km away) on foot and unexpectedly had to walk back in the middle of the night as the buses back did seem to have stopped running even though it was only about 9pm. Not really the hotels fault but there were some very loud kids walking around yelling and singing at 3am. A lift would have made bag-carrying easier. I liked all/. Parking can be a bit cramped and check-in only lasts until 2000. The double room was a bit small but we had a room in the first floor which was perfect. Our room was in front of reception!. No option for separate beds for the kids. Very small parking area. Sauna was only available for a few hours a day and by appointment. Nothing.
