  Logistic, rooms, location, service - Fantastic location, amazing spa and the service was excellent, everyone was very friendly. Very easy access to the spa from your room, no need to go through other parts of the hotel which was much appreciated.

  Excellent hotel and holiday base in a magnificent setting. Staff very pleasant and made every effort to make our stay perfect. We had a junior suite in the 'Residence', a new wing with modern décor and spacious rooms, with a large, south-facing covered balcony / terrace; we'll ask for the same next time. Staff is very attentive, we were warmly welcomed, and although the weather was terrible they still made our stay into a warm and cozy experience. Tastefully and warmly furnished overall, comfortable and clean rooms. Restaurant is pleasently staffed and the food is excellent, both from buffet and a-la-carte. An absolutely wonderfull experience overall! Can't say anything less! We'd love to be back soon.

  Great value for the money in Germany. The staff made a point of remembering your personal preferences. I stayed at 2 different 5-star Hotels (one was even advertised as a Castle 5 star Hotel) in 2 different cities on the same trip. Let me say, the service and attention to details by Staudacherhof Hotel staff were far superior than the two other 5 ... what people say » star hotels/castle hotels I stayed in. That says a lot considering I travel 3-4 times a year to various hotels in the us and Europe. The food was supe - The staff were amazingly friendly. We were treated so well , particularly on our 30th anniversary when they dressed our table and gave us a personalised scroll The spa area was amazing, very relaxing and, when we were there, was not overcrowded The food was soooo good and plentiful I cannot recommend this enough

Breakfasts were outstanding--one could order freshly fried eggs, omelettes, bacon etc. the buffet featured lots of meat, cheeses, breads and fresh fruit.
