  We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Das Tergernsee and had a wonderful time. The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake.   Nice spacious room with a sunny terrace facing mountains and the sunbathing lawn; the room was very quiet, although it was immediately near the covered swimming pool. Great sauna facilities, and not very busy in August. The WiFi is reasonably fast. The breakfast is one of the best we had lately, and we travelled a lot this summer. The lady who served us remembered our preference for coffee from the first morning and - Everything was OK. Thank you. The hotel has its own SPA and sport center. Plus- Aquaria nearby and golf center not so far. Excellent meal, frendly and helpfull stuff, comfortable room. And there are a lot of activities around Oberstaufen. Mountains, waterfalls etc...

  I was very impressed with this hotel and will be staying there on my next visit, no doubt about that.The members of staff who I spoke to, who were receptionists and bar staff, were efficient, professional and friendly. The room maid ensured that my room was spotless every day and staff members who I passed whilst moving around the hotel always smil... what people say » ed and said hello. - The location is phenomenal: it's right on the main SBahn line, but also just an easy 10 minute walk to the center of the city (Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt), right beside the Gastieg, etc. I liked that they provided coffee, tea and cocoa in the room.   Very nice hotel, easy to access with a free parking reserved to the guest of the hotel, the room had a beautifull view on the montains with a balcon around your room. The breakfast is self service buffet with a lot of choices and it's fresh. No noise and very quiet. To know : the staff speak only german and english. The price is very interesting... what people say » for this quality, big value for money. - The friendly staff, and that the hotel is well heated, without us having to use any heaters, the rooms itself are warm, which in -6 degrees celcius outside is a great blessing to have!
