  We enjoyed are stay very much at this Hotel and wish we would have booked for a longer stay. Rooms were very large and clean. Each room has it's own balcony over looking a pond and beautiful mountains. Heidi the owner I can't say enough about her. She is a fantastic host! Giving ideas on getting around by supplying maps and ect.... George her husb... what people say » and in a suburb gormet chef. Food was outstanding - I absolutely loved the hotel. Heidi, one of the owners, is fantastic and has all the little things that help assist one when traveling, including brochures, maps, the best places to park info, etc. Her restaurant is fantastic and most folks that stayed there were repeat customers each evening. It has great food and nice wine/beer options. I give this a 10+ out of 10!

Highly recommended! - Wonderful location, traffic-free and peaceful, but within a few minutes' walk of the centre of Rothenburg.   This is a lovely hotel with a lovely friendly and warm atmosphere. The staff work hard to make sure everything is how you like it and they are happy to give you advice and tips on the area. It's situated in a little town just outside GP but the road access is excellent and its very central to the main sights. Great cakes and lovely breakfast. Food was excellent with extras like coffee cake for breakfast and cake and tea in the afternoon. We had a large room on the 3rd floor: beautiful wood work; nice details; balcony overlooking the mountains. The best thing of all was the herd of cows being driven to the barn to be milked and then back to pasture, right under our window.
