  I enjoyed everything about the hotel from the friendliness of the owner/staff to the attention to detail on making their guest comfortable. The only comment I would make is that the wireless internet was not accessible from the rear building where my room was located. The room was very clean.It is 25min drive to the airport. the staff is very friendly and welcoming. there are few playground activities for the children.   We chose this place for our hiking tours in the area around Kelheim/Althmueltal. We used a rental car to get back and forth between Kelheim (or other walking areas) and the guesthouse. Our room was beautifully decorated in traditional Bavarian style and our room had a breathtaking view of the Alps.
