The hospitality shown by the owners was outstanding. The restaurant served excellent food. Comfortable accommodations in a great area for exploration of south west Germany. We loved everything we cannot say enough great things about the hotel and the lady who owns it. Food was excellent, room clean and comfortable. Excellent local Pfaffenweiler wine at dinner, so we bought 12 bottles from the owner.Arrived by motorcycles in the rain, and welcomed at the door. Ultra clean and comfortable - the young married couple owners have been there 5 years, and obviously put their heart and soul into the place. Food very good. Outstanding restaurant, charming town, gracious staff, very clean, good value for the money. They really want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Large, quiet room....very clean. Great German breakfast.very freindly accomodating hosts, really nice room, nothing was too much trouble, lovely location - a charming find!. Quiet location. Convenient parking. Local wine.Breakfast was super!. Good beds and breakfast. spacious room, very good restaurant, nice breakfast, parking space in front of the entrance. Good size room. Parking.not suitable for disabled. Cost, including dinner in the restaurant, perhaps a little pricey ??. Was disappointed at the breakfast selection.

Our comfortable, wood-panelled restaurant with its tiled stove offers beautifully set tables for up to 50 guests.
During the long summer months for which the region is famous, there is room for an additional 30 guests on our sunny, south-facing terrace.
Information about the area
The wine-growing village of Pfaffenweiler, with a population of 2600, lies 10 kilometers south of Freiburg i.Br. It is located at the foot of the Black Forest at its western edge. It is only 20 km to the French border at the Rhine River.
Leaving the Autobahn A5 (between Karlsruhe and Basel) at either the Bad Krozingen or Freiburg South exit, you can reach Pfaffenweiler in about 10 minutes.
