Loved the building - big rooms with comfortable old furniture looking out on attractive street with half-timbered houses and hotel bar in small garden. Glimpse of the Rhine 50 yards away. Easy to find. Smallish supermarket nearby which made it easy for us to buy food and picnic on the banks of the Rhine. Embarkation site very near for trips up and down the river. Very highly recommended. Most helpful attitude of the proprietor, especially on arrival to find the Marktplatz closed to traffic due to a forthcoming Christmas Market. Also, as we has arrived on a Wednesday (his Ruhetag), he arranged for us to dine at a nearb hotel where we paid only for drinks - he charged the food to our account with him (we had booked a half-board arrangement with him.
