The room and the location and the buffet breakfast. Excellent staff. Very keen to be helpful to whatever you ask them. The place itself was near the station, but each time I ventured out, I was asked how was I and where was I planning to visit for the day. Unfailingly, each time I got very useful tips, including brochures and ideas. Superb stay in Munich. Thanks Monaco.free wireless internet, that made me feel connected with the world...since i don't know Germany...clean room...friendly staff. all reviews »
Location near the main station and city centre. Very friendly staff andclean rooms. Excellent value for money.location, breakfast. Christine, Sarah and her team are angels and their smiles are the best start that you can have before you start your Munich tour. The rooms were comfortable, nice and the location of the hotel was fantastic.. so very close to the main train station (Munchen Hbf). Would definitely recommend them again and again..Readiness at reception, friendly welcome, and readiness to help of staff. Location is very convenient: just a few steps to the Hauptbahnhof (central train station). We stayed there for 3 nights! The location is excellent of the hotel. Just 2 minutes we could go to the central station. And the staffs are very nice to provide assistance. The location of the hotel is good, it is easy to find when you come out of the train station, i would maybe advise bookings.com to update their website, on the website it says that the Monaco accepts credit cards but when you arrive in the Monaco there is a sign saying that they dont accept credit cards, this wasnt too much of a problem for me it just meant a couple of extra trips to the bank. The breakfast was excellent with large variety of fruits.breakfast is not so good as what i expected..maybe more types of food. The room did get quite hot at night (stayed at end of June). There was afan we used, but this still wasn't quite enough. As our room faced themain road, if we had the windows open, we would have had the generalnoise of the street below (although this wasn't excessive).Wifi a bit slow, but signal was strong. Seems not so clean on the sofa. And the light is a little deam.We were in transit in Munich going to another country for only a nigh to rest after oversees flight. Surprise!! The front desk operator did not accept any credit cards, she wanted only cash to pay the room, which was not specified in my reservation with booking.com.
