swimming pool, breakfast, silence. They booked a renovated room for us, and it was much better than the rooms in old building.For a german hotel, the heating was good. Ease of access to Undergrounds station to centre of Munich. Having the U Bahn so nearby was great and also shops. The staff were very firendly especially in the bar area who were chatty professional and willing to help in any way they could including suggestions on typical bavarian food and wine. Given that our knowledge of german was minimal - we had no problems their English was excellent and they made the stay extremely pleasant.

By car: If you are approaching from Stuttgart on the A8 motorway, follow the signs for Garmisch-Partenkirchen via the A95 motorway. Pass the viaduct on the Fürstenrieder Strasse and follow the signs for Obersendling - Forstenried - Fürstenried Ost. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into the Drygalski Allee, then turn left into the Kistlerhofstrasse. You will find the hotel on the left-hand side. By public transport: From Munich’s airport or main railway station, take the S-Bahn (city rail) to Marienplatz. Transfer to the U-Bahn (underground) line U3 for Fürstenried West. Descend at Machtlfinger Strasse and leave the station via the Machtlfinger Strasse exit. On the Machtlfinger Strasse, turn left and continue straight ahead until you reach the next set of traffic lights. Turn left into the Kistlerhofstrasse, where you will find the hotel.
