The innkeepers are really nice, they prepared local transport information for us. The room was very cozy and was cleaned every day during our stay. Breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee and egg. Each of two bus stops is about 3 to 5 minutes away, even walking distance to the Berchtesgaden HBF is just about 15 minutes. -

This guesthouse is excellent. Whatever it lacks is made up by the friendly and very hospitable Birgit Nagel who operates the guesthouse. We loved the atmosphere here. The breakfast room was cozy and Birgit mingled with all the guests to make sure everything was alright. The room was fine with huge windows. Also our free bus ticket was wonderful.

Everything! See above. We had two rooms for our family of five. We were very comfortable and the rooms are nicely decorated. Breakfast and presentation were a perfect start of each day. Haus Schwalbennest feels more like an BnB than a hotel. The family that owns the hotel are wonderful people. Couple the amazing traditional German style hotel experience with incredible views of the surrounding area like Lake Konigsee and you have a phenomenal opportunity to experience Germany at it's best.
