Very elegant and sophicated hotel. A very nice place to pull up to after a long day. Reception staff was friendly. Loved the room, so modern. View was nice of the town. Bathroom updated and modern. Had dinner in their resturant and it was marvelous. Very good. Waitstaff efficient and friendly. Received a sampling from the cook, which was delicious! The airport was a two minute drive from the hotel and offered the early morning shuttle.

The hotel, like most in Lautzenhausen, exists as a transfer point at the isolated Hahn airport, where Ryanair operates. It was ideal for the one-night layover we required. It is clean and comfortable, and the staff are very efficient at helping travelers with the logistics of arriving and departing. Their 24-hour shuttle service and long breakfast hours are convenient. We stay there when we travel from Frankfurt Hahn airport because the staff speaks very good English and they have very pleasant demeanors. They offer shuttle service to the Frankfurt Hahn airport, but on this occassion they provided us with a shuttle to and from a wine festival in a neighboring town, it was awesome!!!!!. Nice clean simple room that was quiet and comfortable. The staff was efficient and helpful which was useful when getting up early to catch a plane! Breakfast starts at 4 a.m. and a free shuttle. They really try hard to meet everyone's needs. My Place is an absolute gem and a must stay for anyone travelling through Hahn airport. The staff were all amazingly welcoming and extremely helpful. The food was to die for with an excellent menu and service that was second to none. The hotel is very close to the airport, about 15 min by foot or 5 min by free shuttle, which you need to book in advance. Breakfast is really good. Rooms are clean, there are shampoo and fan. I prefer foam over down because it keeps the head up and not laying flat on the bed. I even used the two extra pillows and all three went super flat. The hotel is clean and a good value for the money, but if your flight schedule at Hahn does not require spending a night close by, there are much more interesting towns to choose from. Very small double bad, I would say it is 1,5, not double! And rooms are tiny, bathroom is also very tiny. nothing,everything was nice. Not enough blankets or pillows. Although this was a good hotel we were just in Hahn for an overnight stay. That being the case the B&B hotel across from the terminal is less expensive and more convenient. The nearby Italian restaurant was not that good. Nothing. Thru no fault of the hotel it is located in the middle of nowhere. Ryan Air uses this airport because it keeps their costs down. Ok. But Ryan Air needs to be very clear that "Frankfort-Hahn" has nothing to do with the city of Frankfort that normal people know. The distance between the two is about 100 kms. wifi is 3G - sometimes good, sometimes not location without car is not good. No tea or coffee facility in the room. Did not get my wake up call luckily I woke up early. The shower was broken and the gentleman at the desk said this was "a known problem" which is disappointing. A little expensive for a basic room. Would still stay there again though. The wifi was a bit slow. nothing. Thought it was nearer the airport but I was collected. The rooms do not look like the photos on the website. Very sparse, but just fine for one night. The rooms were smaller than expected. Breakfast and staff. One single telephone call of 18 minutes to Italy = Euro 22.60. = a shame = eine verschaemheit = una vergogna !!!!! It was an impornat call and my handy was off battery. It's not four days star standard. Small room and small bathroom. Wifi did not work. It's in the village lautzenhausen - airport not walkable even though it is supposed to be 800m away - that must be as the crow flies!. A bit of noise from the nearby farms and airplanes. Room full of flies. No aircon. diner.
