The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay.
Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome!
I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)

It was in a great location-in a historical hip and trendy area of former East Berlin. Great sops and restaurants in the area. The fact that the bar was a real focal point for the area should be stressed more. This apartment is the best way to stay in Berlin, better than any hotel, the location was fantastic. It was spacious, comfortable, clean and very well appointed, with a dishwasher and washing machine, for which we were very grateful after being on a cycling holiday. Highly recommended.

Great location for exploring berlin, easy walk to all major site's and metro right outside front door. Place was very clean, room was a good size, had a good bathroom, was quiet and was very cheap for quality of rooms. Building also had a kitchen available to use and also free washing machine and dryer which is very handy. It's a mix of dorms and private hotel rooms (which i had) and i would stay here again when in Berlin.
