  i can not say enough good things about Peter and Ben... so helpful! the place looks amazing and really encapsulates an old brothel feel.. it's kitsch, tacky and has some amazing pictures and features. excellent location. totally worth paying a bit extra to stay there for the real hamburg experience.. and please take Bens advice on where to go.. he... what people say » knows his stuff! - Staff were excellent, gave me and my friend countless bits of invaluable advice. Told us some places to go also and they were great. Allowed me to use they're phone/laptop when I lost my phone also which was priceless at the time.

  Very friendly and humorous staff. Nice, clean and spacious room/bathroom. Conveniently located next to Altona station with easy access to everywhere. We had reserved paid parking in the basement but still the receptionist gave us the choice to cancel it and park on the street for free. Free Wifi. This is the place to stay if you are in Hamburg ... what people say » with friends. - I was totally impressed with the Hotel and it's staff and not to mention the close proximity to the public train system. Best bang for your buck for those travelers looking to country hop and need a clean and comfortable room. I've been traveling in Europe for two months and will now only stay at Meininger Hotels.   Great location, reasonable price, friendly staff, nice clean room, good bar and restraunt. - Staff were very helpful. I had trouble connecting my Mac to WiFi so a staff member let me use the receptions PC for internet use. A very large selection of items for breakfast. Queen size bed just for me.
