  We went on a 10 day road trip and stayed at 8 different hotels. This was by far the very best hotel we stayed in! The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious including the bathroom; and included a sitting area, desk, refrigerator, a safe, a closet, Television, and an ac uniti!!!   Very chic hotel with fancy decoration - only paid 105 € a night for a single room in august 2008 - quite cheap - chic area with nice boutiques and restaurant plus near to Alster Lake - Gorgeous view from our room over the breakfast patio. Quiet at night, amazing location on the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and always answered yes (... what people say » with a smile) to our tentative "Sprechen Sie Englisch?".

It wasn't overly big, but it was comfortable enough. The bed was particularly comfortable.
