The unique island 'Neuwerk bei Ebbe' can be reached after 2 hours on foot or 1 hour riding in a carriage. 'Nige Hus' and the island will provide an ideal setting for a relaxed holiday for families and individual tourists.

The island of Neuwerk can be reached from Cuxhaven either once a day by ferry, or by walking or taking a horse-drawn carriage when the tide is out. It takes about 2 hours to walk and is about a 1-hour carriage ride. No personal cars are allowed on the island.

The island Neuwerk is situated in the national park of 'Hamburgisches Wattenmeer', next to the mouth of Elbe at Cuxhaven. Here you will find tranquility in a car-free environment. Our hotel is close to dikes and offers a spacious garden with minigolf, tanning area and secluded spaces.
10 minutes by foot to the sea.
