From 08:00 we serve bread rolls, soft boiled eggs, scrambled egg, sausage and cheese specialities, a variety of jams, fruit juices, quark, muesli, fresh coffee and tea. Feel free to take as much as you like.

In the afternoons we offer coffee and cakes on our summer patio.

Important information to guests

Please note that between 05 November 2011 and 20 December 2011, and between 07 January 2012 and 20 March 2012, there will only be ferry sailings to Helgoland on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Return sailings from Helgoland take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Please consider this when making your booking. Flights are available every day.

Information about the area

Discover Helgoland, with its colourful houses and Hummerbuden ("lobster shacks"). White sands, red cliffs and green countryside lend the flag of Helgoland its colours.

The island is a wonderful place to stroll around. Along attractive car-free streets, cafés, restaurants and small shops selling tax-free goods tempt you inside. 70 kilometres away from mainland Germany, this is the country's only off-shore island, providing both isolation and plenty to do.

Some units also have a kitchen or a kitchenette, equipped with a refrigerator. Haus Nickels also includes a terrace. City Hall is a few steps from Haus Nickels, while Helgoland jetty is 100 metres away.

Our guest rooms feature designer furniture made from high-quality lustrous woods, and the interior is reminiscent of the décor you would find in a yacht. Designed by Torsten Conradi, the furnishings lend the rooms an inimitable style.

All rooms are equipped with LCD television, telephone, radio alarm clock, hairdryer and a safe. Our generous bedding ensures comfort and warmth.

In one of the first roads to be rebuilt, the idyllic Bremer Straße, you find our apartments in the “Haus Bremer Stadtmusikanten” (“House of the Bremen Musicians”). These apartments are comfortably equipped – just as in our two other buildings – and offer accommodation in the town centre.
