I loved the big room! I was in the oriental suite and it was great!. Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Very good location - close to the Congress Centre and Train station. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Huge Victorian style rooms in this traditional old building. Very comfortable beds. There is free tea and coffee available in the lounge area with some space to work also with free wireless internet. Would be great location for a weekend in Hamburg just a few minutes walk from the City and the Central Station. Would definately recommend this hotel for business or leasure. all reviews »
Very cosy room, free parking, city centre and Alster @ short walking distance.Large room on ground floor, useful with young child. Location, staff. I didn't like that I had to use so many keys to get into my room after the reception closed. . If you have a car, the parking is on street. No problem after business hours but hard work to find a space during the day.Reception on 2nd floor and room on 1st floor, could be a problem with young families lugging bags up/down. Security an issue as unpaid visitor allowed into the building and our section by other people staying, no phone service to contact reception for such emergencies.
