Friendly staff, perfect location, good food. Perfect hotel for such money .The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food at the hotel restaurant was quite good. The location is quite nice as well as the views from the balconies of the rooms. Sauna is closing too early, wall heating (no chance to dry glowes, boots, etc...). Wi-Fi.

Arrival by car: Coming from Munich take A95 to Garmisch until arriving at Eschenlohe, then take B2 to junction Garmisch/Grainau. Pass Garmisch and go on to Griesen. Right before Grainau turn left to Hammersbach/Obergrainau into Schmölzstraße.

Coming from Füssen take B314 via Reute, Heiterwang, Lermoos, Ehrwald, border crossing Griesen. Approx. 2km behind the exit Grainau turn right to Hammersbach/Obergrainau into Schmölzstraße.
