This was the most comfortable hotel/BandB we stayed at during our 3 weeks of European travel in 4 different countries. Hotel Christine is immaculately clean and well provisioned. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful of any in Germany and Switzerland. The breakfast was amazing. If you are visiting Bavaria, we would recommend you go out of your way if necessary to stay at the Hotel Christine.

The position of the hotel the views from the balcony just made it a joyful experience and would like to thank Herr Rupert for making us feel so welcome it was a shame to leave and would recommended the hotel to anyone . Once again thanks Herr. Everything is wonderful ! Feel like home! and very clean, very comfortable! The room view is wonderful, we could see the castle at balcony, and walk 10minutes to the lake, wonderful experience! The breakfast is perfect, just like art ! It's the best breakfast we've had! the boss(I think he is)is very kind of us! he drive us to town for dinner, and when we leave drive us to the station! We love it!. We arrived very late at the hotel on our way back from Italy. I phoned ahead and told them we would be arriving at about 22.00. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly with welcome drink and plate of small fruit in the room. The next day, breakfast was a real delight served at our table and included fruit, a selection of meats and cheese and, the biggest surprise, apple strudel and ice cream!. if you what to feel spoiled even if you are not a king then here is the place. We looked on the booking reviews and you cannot be disappointed, its even better> We arrived late and Herr Kurt Ruppert welcomed us with a glass of juice and a plate of goodies (fruits, sweets and snacks) which were perfect after a long trip. He also recommend us and book the dinner in a nice and good restaurant. Friendly atmosphere, clean rooms and a gracious host. Upon arrival, ourfamily was greeted at the door by the hotel's owner who served each ofus a glass of fresh juice. Each room included a mini-bar and a welcomingplate of assorted snacks for all. The free breakfast was superb andserved in a well appointed dining area with a beautiful view of thesurrounding mountains. A very pleasent stay!. Personal Service. Recevied refreshing drink at check in. A small platter with Strawberries, chocolate and cookies delivered to room. Breakfast was an inividually set table with a flute of yogurt, a tasteful dish of fresh fruit and three small trays of meats and cheeses. A short time later scrambled eggs delivered to your table.Served with coffee and tea. Very appealing. Staff excellent. This hotel is wonderful. There were snacks (pretzels, potato chips,cookies, and other goodies) in our room. The room was very large withcouch, chairs, and a large bed. The bathroom was also large. And therewas a balcony overlooking the mountains. Our host was charming and gave usall the information we needed. He gave us a great rec for dinner. Andbreakfast is to die for.We couldn't fault the hotel or its owner who was friendly, knowledgeable and went out his way to make our stay fantastic. The room was light, clean and far exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was a pure work of art. This hotel clearly set out to provide an excellent service and so glad that chose to stay here for 7 days sorry to have to leave. Location is good too. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. The breakast at Hotel Chrstine was a lovely surpirse. The decorations, music and food were beautifully presented by the Owner and was above expectations.The owner/manager (Kurt) was wonderful. He did so much to make our stay special (including coordinating our lost baggage which arrived promptly the next day). Classy and chic, this small hotel is just perfect for a stay in Fussen. The personal touch of the owner ensures that all guests are warmly welcomed. He ensures that every detail is attended to. Breakfasts are a real treat. Spectacular views of snow capped mountains and a short walk to the town or the lake. A great place to use as a centre to see the surrounding countryside and castles.Herr Kurt Ruppert was a fantastic host. He not only provided an exquisite breakfast, but was also very helpful in providing maps and directions. He also provided us with a recommendation for dinner, and even made our reservations with the restaurant. From our first floor balcony, we could see the major portion of the surrounding mountains. This was the best place we stayed during our whole trip! The proprietor was so friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, very comfortable, and inviting. The breakfast table was set so beautifully and the food so delicious that it was a work of art. The host helped us make our train the next morning by driving us to the station!. This is a remarkable hotel with a unique ambience. The standard of service is very high indeed. The room we had was more like a small suite. The breakfast was terrific. The owner welcomed us with a complimentary (non-alcoholic) drink, booked us a table at a nearby restaurant and waved us goodbye as we left. True personal service. The customer service was excellent. The walk from the Fuessen train station is somewhat long, but the host greeted us at the hotel with glasses of cold juice, and had a fruit and candy plate waiting in our room.Yes, too few soap and no shampoo in the room. Bath with handshower is a little less convenient compared to normal shower.If you are not arriving by car, it's a 20 minute walk from the station. No internet service. a little bit far away from train station (but is acceptable). They did not put any shower gel neither shampoo on the second day...Some things in the room were not clean from the first to the second day.
