Can't believe it's "only" a three star hotel! Have been to several four star hotels which don't reach the standard of this one. We booked two standard rooms to accommodate us and our two teenagers. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Location was ideal to Frankfurt-Main airport and we LOVED the terrace outside our room. We enjoyed elegant riesling from the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My stay at meininger Hotel Frankfurt Main worked out flawlessly. For
the 39 euros, a clean, no frills stay was exactly what I wanted. I got
to the hotel using their free shuttle. As I have read other reviews
before, it can get full easily, but the driver handled it well: 2 of us
were instructed to get into another shuttle for another hotel that had
room, and it dropped us off near the hotel, and soon the other full
shuttle came behind with our bags. That is pretty good collaboration!
