Hotel am Bauenhaus is a hidden gem, if you are flying into or out of Dusselsorf and are tired of Marriotts and Holiday Inns. Authentic German gasthaus close to the airport - Gemutlichkeit to spare. Wonderful food, very friendly staff (Max offered us a ride to the airport the morning of our flight) - we can't say enough good things about the Bauenhaus. We would fly into/out of Dusseldorf in the future just for the opportunity to stay here again.
