This is the best budget and eco-friendly hotel I've ever been. The rooms are not big as you would expect for this price, but equipped well with the most modern equipment and everything is very well thought through and convenient. It is right in the centre of the old town close to everything and breakfast is decent as well. We had a great stay with two kids (3 and 10 yrs old). Very good wifi connection.

It is also on top of a shopping centre so it's very easy to buy stuffs (there's a Aldi in the basement, that's why I can't comment on the breakfast) The room is simple but fully functional (free and stable internet, there's soap and towels; for hair dryer you can get it free at the reception with deposit.). Good quality and comfortable rooms. Suitable and highly recommend for couples and family with one child. If you have Nextbike account there is a Nextbike station infront of the hotel. Location, staff, clean, quite, good wifi, good selection of TV channels, design, quick check in and check out. Previous guests wrote about absence of soap bars in the rooms. Now it is changed and 2 smal soap bars were provided. I only missed a bathmat as it is really needed when you go out of the shower. The receptionist was friendly, as was the breakfast server. The rooms are interestingly modern and innovative, bed was comfy, shower good, room was clean. No complaints. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. We paid the 7.50 euro for it and I think it was a fair price. Situated right across the historical center, in the same building with a very nece mall full of shops and restaurants. After a week I found that my back was beginning to ache, so the mattress did not suit my back. Also the linen was rather slippery so the doona kept sliding off the bed. Shower and sink were in the room, which wasn't a problem for us. We were not in the room much. Shower was in the room which may not suit everyone but it didn't worry us at all. Wifi is really dead, forget about skype, even googling could be a problem shower has bad regulation - it changes temperature on its own - you can burn yourself or got cold shower unintentionally window view is not exciting - could be noise on the road side and very dull view at the opposite side. I HATE the motion sensor light in the bathroom. At 3:00a.m. I do not want a bright, overhead light in my eye. It wakes me up too much so I cannot go back to sleep. I also did not like the pillows. the shower could be at least little hidden from the rest of the room. The bed was not so comfortable. The breakfast was not worth the money, but one did not need to by it. Its too impersonal... asepctic. THe shower was in the middle of the room. no sampoo or bath gel provided. Long walk to the room. Beds were a little un-balanced and you had to get up carefully or it would make a lot of noise. Parking is some 200 meters from the hotel in the Altmarktgalerie Q-park. But as a guests you will get a discount so the price is 9EUR/24hrs - ask at the receoption.
