The staff were so friendly, and helpful, and even though no one really spoke much English, they all tried so hard!!. I simply liked everything; The staff (owners) ara amazingly nice and hotel is comfortable, clean and well located. The area where the hotel is located is really beautiful and the small town Daun was impressive. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone.I wasn't too keen on the food.

The hotel has 2 restaurants. Guests can either dine in our à la carte restaurant, inside or outdoors on the terrace, or enjoy our barbecue restaurant where we serve delicacies from the grill and luxurious fondue in a social atmosphere.

Our hotel also provides a large lounge with a bar. This is open from 10:00 til late into the night. From comfortable sofas and reclining chairs you can gaze out over the sunny terrace area.

Information about the area

In the Vulkaneifel region you will find innumerable settlements of little villages and towns in and around the valleys and rolling hills. This hotel is equidistant from the town centre and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

In the winter the area offers both cross country skiing as well as steeper slopes, not far from the hotel.

Our room categories are named after 3 famous volcanic craters which are situated in the area surrounding the hotel. They are all comfortably furnished and rooms with balconies are available on request (rooms titled Weinfelder and Schalkenmehrener).

The television in the room also offers Dutch channels.
