  I loved the overall cosmopolitan atmosphere. Most of the staff was very friendly and quite helpful. The bathroom was very clean and so were the rooms. The temperature of the room was very nice. Breakfast was nice an copious. - The staff were very friendly and the place were very clean very easy to get on the train to the center of the city

  it's a youth hostel in name but its more like a hotel. It's very clean, modern and spacious. The general decor is tasteful and it's quiet. It has 7 floors. The buffet style breakfast is simple but very nice. The room was nice and comfy. At night I couldn't hear other guests or noise from the street. It was good value for money and well located. It... what people say » s across the river so to go to the city centre it's a 15 minute walk across the bridge. In the area around the hostel there are restaurants and some b - I was very surprised by this hotel! I was attending a conference and all hotels were fully booked in Cologne so the only fair option was this hotel. I was expecting a terrible hostel but actually I got a nice and spacious room with a view to the cathedral!!! The room was simple but very clean with a comfortable shower and wc. I highly recommend if you want a great location in Koln for a very good price. Staff was great, breakfast simple. The building is also new. Ask for room 703!
