Very nice hotel. Largest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel room! Quiet area, but very central. Close to the Sony Centre, Friedrichstrasse and the U-bahn. Would stay again.
Room could have done with a TV
They were very flexible in the fact that they let us cancel one of the rooms at very short notice. They were very helpful, it was clean and cheap. It was perfect for me and a couple of mates, location is spot on too, as it is on 2 major underground lines.

The staff speaks both German and English and is friendly and helpful. I was even allowed to park my bicycle in the hall of the hotel.

No frills (such as phone or alarm clock in the room ;) - but cheap and clean! Very central location. Separate bathroom/shower was fine and did not have to be shared with other rooms. Reasonably quite. Very friendly and responsive staff.
Cash payment is the only option - should have been made clear before. Somewhat difficult to find after hours.

Great concept - hostel type facilities (shared bathroom, simple breakfast) and price, but a private room and a central, upmarket hotel type location.
The location is excellent. Free WiFi is a huge plus. So is the free internet-PC for people that don't bring a laptop. Breakfast at 4 euro is good and good value. The rooms seem newly renovated and are in excellent repair and clean.
The only reason that I don't give services / facilities a score of excellent is that they did not have any tourist maps in the reception.

Leipzigerstrasse is busy -> traffic noise, but easily avoidable by asking for room on yard side or facing Mauerstrasse (side street)

The entrance of the hotel was confusing.
The location is super. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are large and comfortable.
We stayed for three nights but not one time they came to clean our room. If we asked for new towels and toilet paper we just had to get it ourselves. one tip! take your own pillow, they are way too soft at the hotel.
