Honestly, it was great. Value for money was amazing! I loved all the little free-bees, including the Haribos on each bed, the nailing file in the bathroom, and the shoe shiner. The staff speak fluent English! No problem with communication at all. The Hotel is right in between the airport and town center. Location couldn't have been more perfect. And the airport bus stops just outside the Hotel (20min transfer, for €3.10 - super cheap!) The Hotel was very clean! Very clean! Honestly, I recomme.
all reviews » My second stay at Blub. I'ts a bargain at the prices they're often offering. Not fancy, but quiet, clean, polite staff and decent communications just a small walk away. Recommended if you're on a budget! Free WiFi = big plus!. It was the cheapest of the hotels in Berlin. Nice and clean, nearest underground station is 5-10 minutes walk, very easy to get to the city centre. Easy to get to from the Schonefeld airport. 5 minutes to the nearest U-bahn station. Nice place to end your day after a long visit to the city. Cozy and clean room with nice big windows. English speaking staff. All the bacis needs at very moderate prices. Easy to get from the Schoenefeld airport. Perfect option for the sleep-and-go tourism. Good value for money. Ideal to reach by car. Parking OK, not in the green zone = green point not needed. U-bahn is 5 minute walk. nice, quiet, clean room, close to tube station-just 2-3 min walk.. free internet access and polite staff. Our bedroom was on the inner side of the Hotel, and was perfect, but my parents were given a bedroom on the main street, and they thought this was maybe a little noise, due to all the car traffic. No free sauna on the hotel. The time it takes to commute by train to the central parts of Berlin. A bit disappointed it didn't have a kettle as I drink a lot of tea. The staff was welcoming and friendly, except for one receptionist who did not even replied to our morning compliments after handing over the room key and never had a smile! No shades on the room who makes it too bright in the morning. If your room's windows face the road, you will suffer from loud noise at night. All the furniture is out of date. Rooms to the street are noisy. Beds are very soft. Breakfast was too expensive... Its a bit far from the city center, one train change. but its worth according to the price. Fee for wifi is too high compared to other hotels. no air conditioning - could be hot in summer days. There is nothing that we did not like!. The hotel could have put a route map, bus, trains etc in the room showing the route and times to the centre. The rooms are a bit of a squeeze. Internet connection not always there. Rooms facing the road were very noisy. really far away from the centre. Parking charged. My wife did not like the waterbed and we did not know about it in advance. Breakfast was expensive for what you got-my wife is vegetarian and options were limited. in the street nearby, there was too much noise, so we had to close the windows & the room temperature would get hot. Mildew in bathroom. Somewhat expensive accomodation. My room turned out to be a smokers-room (I did not request that upon reservation). I had to open the windows for a long time to reduce the smell. Giving frost outside my room was too hot (23C) despite heating at minimum level. Quality is not of a 4 star hotel. The hotel could be cleaner, specially the bathroom. Everything smells like food.
