This apartment was spacious, clean, bright and very centrally located. It was furnished to a very high standard and very comfortable. I would typically stay in another hotel close by when visiting Berlin but I would make Karlito Apartments my regular place to stay from now on. It has everything close by in a very vibrant part of the city. All amenities are on your door step. I would have no hesitation to recommend this place!.
all reviews » Very large flat with kitchen, dining table and desk. Good wifi connection. Large bathroom with Bath not shower. Comfortable bed. Very good location in Berin, easy access from U and S Bahn. Lots of nice restaurants auround. Personal was really cool. We were amazed to walk into the apartment & find it so spacious. The location was great, just a short walk away from the metro. The street was quiet. We had a balcony off our room. It was just very comfortable & a very good value. Lots of space, great bathroom with shower/tub combo, room had it's own balcony, kitchen with fridge, glasses, plates, utensils, tiny stove, sink, comfortable bed, lots of windows with lots of light, 5 minute walk to metro. Great location - central but quiet; appartment is spacy enough - having a small kids you will appreciate 40m2 instead of 16m2 hotel room; the biggest surprise was the breakfast - unbeateable price and served to bed ;-). It is a very spacious apartment, the staff are friendly, it is an amazing value for your money and it was super clean. I loved it! I was completely impressed by the accommodations. Great location, big and comfortable apartments, modern style, friendly staff. Only 5 minutes walking from metro station, 15 minutes walking to the Museum's island. Excellent apartment. We can recommend Karlito for a stay in Berlin!. The location is great as it´s close to two metro stations and to several restaurants. Nice and spacious apartment, close to main sights. Unfortunately the apartment was not cleaned on a daily basis and you have to ask for clean towels. Also, breakfast was very expensive at €10 but there are many cafes a stone’s throw away that do a great breakfast at a reasonable price. These points are very minor and they would definitely not put me off staying here again and again. Reception desk Inside a coffee, I have not tried the breakfast. Breakfast not included. Nothing - it was wonderful. The general area,Mitte, was pretty edgy. Lots of trash, broken bottles, drunks at night, and loads of graffiti. This is not a reflection on the apartment or owner; they were terrific. A microwave- oven and toaster would be great. Hardly a problem, but a microwave oven would make the Karlito perfect for self-catering. The WiFi connection was unstable and slow, and was only partly fixed after I gave a notice. In my earlier stays, this has not been a problem, and is in fact an important factor for me to choose a hotel/apartment. None. A lamp not working. Could not alter temperature of heating (not warm enough). Some noise at night as above bar. Noone obvious to talk to, keys passed over bar. you have to leave until 10 a.m. Insufficient air con, room became hot and had to open windows, which became noisy with sports bar at end of street. Nothng. Would be perfect if with washing machine. I`m sorry, but I cannot found anything negativ, or it maybe should be the missing of one or two confortable chairs with sufficient light, for reading a book or watching tv. This is certainly not a critisim, but only a thought. The staff in Lois was not really friendly. The apartment was not cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast cost (10 euros per person) is outrageous. A lot of noise from the nearby bars until 5 am. You cannot avoid the noise by closing the windows, because the apartment becomes too hot then and there is no ventilation (we stayed during a nice summer weekend). Wifi is very slow.
