The location was excellent, the staff was great, the room was amazing, the breakfast was delicious!!! our room was with a balcony towards Kurfurstendam street and it was so beautiful! room was very spacious and great, shower was very modern and new! just amazing hotel, i recommend it to everyone!. It's a very beautiful hotel with lovely and cosy rooms. Breakfast is excellent and the underground station is very close.

The rooms are good and cosy. The hotel is situated not far from the centre it's rather convinient.Very professional and helpful staff. Your room is charged to your credit card on booking, the staff was able to reverse the charge but just be aware.There is no lobby or place to sit with freinds. only one single key to the room. there are a few stairs before reaching the elevator, but for someone that doesn't have a lot of bags- thats fine.During our stay there were other guests that were very noisy but this isn't a reflection on the hotel.Complicated access to rooms 25 and above: you have to take two elevators and follow some staircases (the hotel in general has too many staircases).Although not a major problem for us, our room required a rather unusual use of two separate lifts and access to the hotel itself and eventually to the room required carrying suitcases up or down three sets of stairs. This also meant that disabled access, had it been relevant, would have been impossible.Cold elevator.We leave the hotel at 6 a.m. and we couldn't agree with staff about breakfest even bread with cheese...I did not like the fact that they pre-charged my card. One of the reasons for choosing your site was that I wanted to pay cash at the hotel. Nevertheless, they charged my card, took my cash and then had to refund the deposit. I believe the process to be too complicated and unncecessary.If we could use a bath tab, this hotel is getting better evaluation.The building was obviously not designed as a hotel. Access to the smallreception meant carrying luggage up a steep staircase to the firstfloor. To reach our room, which was on the top floor, we had to use twolifts, two staircases and pass through two locked doors.The slantingroof windows had roll-down blinds which were difficult to draw andrelease. No lobby or access to a computer.There was a mix up with the bookings so we arrived to find no room as expected! They were only able to accommodate by splitting the party into two rooms, which was not ideal, however they did honour the original price.having to use 2 lifts to get to rooms. one night we arrived there and the room wasn#t clean, nor the beds nor the shower, toilet, floor... too bad. and one of the workers almost called us idiots because we didn#t know we had to call to open the door at the entrance...The towels were not as clean as it would be expected (probably cleaned at lower temperatures than 60 or 90 degrees celsius).breakfast and room floor was dirty.
