Our visit was in November 2013. The family that run Gasthaus zur Rose are very helpful and friendly. They even picked us up and drove us to the train station so we didn't have to worry about carrying our bags. Everything...starting from the excellent location in the middle of Black Forest to the impressive and clean apartment. The natural surroundings were a visual treat. Very cheap for a spacious apartment. It's set right in the midst of Black Forest. Walking trails all around. Host were very friendly, especially to children. Free use of public swimming pool (0.5km away). At night you can hear the stream and rustling of trees, and see the stars. Wonderful for nature.
