The location is very peaceful, although under the flight path (but planes don't fly in during the night - only in the day)

Free wifi. Room was clean as was the bathroom. Shower was excellent, proper power shower. The aero chocolate carpeting throughout was amusing. I would recommend anyone to stay here. We used it as a stopover back to Calais from Berlin and would use it again. Highly recommended... -

10 minutes subway ride from the Essen central station, and 16 minutes ride from Messe (without changing trains). Only a few minutes from the nearest station (Karlsplatz). Quite easy to reach.

The staff was very helpful, even with a slight language problem. The food was very good, we enjoyed a meal in the evening, and a very hearty breakfast. The room was good, clean and tidy, there was some traffic noise, but as we had been traveling for 10 hours we didn't hear much. -
It is near the Sportspark we wanted to visit.
