Very friendly and helpful staff ( whom we now know well ); good practical comfortable rooms ; reasonable breakfast; excellent private parking so we could safely leave our cases in the car. The friendly, helpful staff made our stay very enjoyable. The central location is excellent and the junior suite we had was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was aslo very good. Actually a very clever and practical modernisation of an old hotel building which gives an excellent base for exploring the delights of Troyes and the surrounding area.

For a traditionally based French hotel to have its incorporated restaurant serving only pizzas must be an error if they wish to attract residents to eat there. I am sure that that they serve the best pizzas to Troyennes but one does not go to Troyes to eat pizzas. Nonetheless the local bistro was great!. Nothing!. the parking is not within the same building. The air conditioning is pathetic and as a result the night's rest wasn't good. The free wifi is a pain as every time your device is locked or asleep you have to re-register. Wi Fi slow. As an international traveller fast Wi Fi is expected in a hotel of this calibre. Parking was and exercise with the out of the way location. Bathroom very clean and spacious but lacked a proper shower. Would not stay for long period of time Quite dark throughout A little claustrophobic in terms of layout and decor. Breakfast possibly a bit tired, and not renewed frequently enough. Would have liked some English tv channels for the kids. Remote carpark. Attached but independently owned restaurant is awful. desperate lack of hot water? We had travelled all day and booked a room with a large bath. Imagine our annoyance there was no hot water to fill it. Staff seemed used to the question 'where is the hot water?' and just suggested we wait 10 minutes. It didn't improve. No restaurant open on night we stayed but close to alternatives. Plumbing. No hot water. not much atmosphere in hotel, no restaurant, but plenty around. The sheets were starched and unfortunately I have a reaction to it. It is however a minor complaint and specific only to myself. No restaurant. Given the price per size of room, I would not rate the hotel a four star premises. Garage not in same building as hotel. Too expensive for what's offered.
