Lagrange Vacances Les Fermes de Samoëns, a ski resort classified by the Monuments Historiques for its beautifully preserved architecture and history. This new residence is composed of 130 apartments over small 3-storey buildings and semi-detached chalets built in the local architectural style. The Fermes also boasts an indoor heated swimming pool and a sauna. Bed linen and towels are provided in the units. It is located 800 metres from the centre, 400 metres from the first shops and 1 km from the gondola (free shuttle bus every 15 min).

Nice appartment (not the usually tiny appartments you tend to find in French ski-resorts) located near an authentic village and with good connections to the slopes. Very helpfull staff: after an initial hick-up with the reservation, a good solution was found and we were pampered for he rest of our stay (not sure if the pampering was linked with the initial hick-up, though). The accomodation was plenty for the three of us (sleeps 6 room) was clean and well laid out.
