  Good welcome and although the couple did not speak very much English they tried very hard and we managed with our broken French. It was a pleasure meeting them and breakfast was served to us rather than the usual buffet style we had experienced. And was plentiful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable but basic. The room was clean and and comfortable. The hotel is located within 3 minutes walk from the seafront and 10 minutes from the centre of Menton and the old town. Continental breakfast was good with as much coffee as you wanted. We would certainly stay there again. Great value for money. Bon accueil. We were greeted with a friendly English-speaking service at the reception. We stayed in a triple room. It's not a big room, there was just enough space to navigate around the furniture but it was fine.   Friendly and helpful staff. Having the car secure in the hotel building. A very decent breakfast. No charge for our little dog. As we arrived in our next hotel in Marseilles we received a polite email from the Alexandra to sat that we had left a bag behind and they kindly agreed to send it to our home.   The couple who run this hotel are very welcoming and helpful, without being intrusive. I had several chats with Francoise, who lent me a book and who was happy to help me practise my French. The hotel is quite small and calm, with a peaceful garden with beautiful flowers.
