  We loved everything - the location so close to the lovely old town, the sea view from our side balcony, the well equipped kitchenette, the huge bed, the modrrn decor, modern bathroom, great shower, nice towels and toiletries and the staff. Our best stay in northern France. We used the quite roomy garage underneath which was a little dear but wort... what people say » h it. Receptionists had enough English to accommodate us. We did not have breakfast but it was a very nice area. There is a supermarket a short walk a - Room is big and clean, all daily necesities are available, bed is quite comfortable. Reception staff very kind and helpfull, they gave us list of best local restaurants and advised which are the best - we tried 2 of 4 and both were perfect. Parking is inside hotel and spaceous enough for big car. Hotel located outside of old sity but it takes only 10-15 minutes walk and the route is going along seaside, so it is very pleasant.

  Very pleasant welcome from receptionist. It has 24 hr reception. We could park immediately outside or anywhere on the road without paying and apparently it is a non-problem area, so felt safe to leave belongings in the car.   The Hotel was excellent on all counts.Great breakfast,lovely room - I had a family room and there was plenty of room,very clean and good ensuite facilities.   We had a family room/junior suite which meant two rooms with adjoining door open. Excellent solution, absolutely brilliant. Location good, hotel clean, and staff arranged for us to have an early breakfast to accomodate a day trip to Jersey. The front desk clerks were very helpful, especially Ruth. We has a superior room which was spacious with a wonderfully comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, mets, cheese, bread, cereal. The hotel is brand new and appears on google maps as the empty lot it once was. It was about a 20 minute walk to the city walls.

  La Maison des Armateurs was in a wonderful location (although St. Malo is so small I'm not sure there is a "bad" location). The staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean, bright and tastefully decorated. - Size of family room and the break fast area was very trendy. Great location and within walking distance of everything.
