Run solely by really friendly English speaking couple. Wife is a master chef and presents most appetising meals. Husband takes the role of faux underdog who's going to be in trouble with the "boss". Rooms French architecture but without the wall and ceiling dark quirkily patterned wallpaper favoured by many, in fact our room was completely white with stripped floorboards. The countryside is undulating with a river snaking through. There is horse riding and an aerial adventure course adjace.

An interesting location in a country park and well situated for a stop over to or from the South of France.We will definitely return. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The food was the best we had in France on this holiday. The location is ideal. Not too far from the A28 yet in deep countryside. It's quiet once the surrounding activities have closed. This is definitely on the list for future visits. An excellent place to stop on a trip to Spain. Also I suspect that it would be an excellent place to stop to tour. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room had space for more than one easy chair which would have been another option. Not one negative thing. We were not able to make coffee in our room. The owners were happy to bring it up to us, but that would be my biggest suggestion for an even more enjoyable stay. Others may just discover it!. Only that directions need to be from all directions - owner knows that now and will adjust. Parking directions could be clearer too - just "go through red double-gates, turn right up ramp and park outside entrance" would be fine. Absolutely nothing except perhaps having to leave. only downside is that there is a tree activity centre opposite, it didn't bother us at all as we were out and about until after it closes. We would visit again. No complaints - all excellent. Arrived just after 4pm, doors where locked and could not get any reply, had to phone letsbookhotel.com to have them contact Hotel. Hopefully this is not the norm. Leaving!,. Lack of wi-fi. Nothing. service at dinner. Nothing. situation of room not private to near entrance.needed more chairs in room. You couldnt help yourself, I went to look at the type of cereal on the counter and got my head bitten off by the french owner. You had to ask for extra tea, milk, butter etc. All too political.
