  I have stayed at this location a couple of times now while in Pays Basque. M. Pascaline is wonderful. This is a self-cater location. But owner is very helpful, and friendly. While she does not speak English and I no French we were still able to manage just fine. It is just a mile outside St. Jean Pied de Port so an easy and lovely walk. I so wish ... what people say » to be there again. My uncle Firmin is her baby brother so I travel with him as it can be difficult for older persons to travel near solo.

It's a lovely cosy little B & B, in a cute old building with lovely old antique furniture, pretty furnishings and vases with fresh flowers. Breakfast is wonderful - for eg, natural yogurt in a glass pot, fresh fruit salad, fresh croissants, ham, great coffee - all presented very tastefully. Bedroom & bathroom clean and comfortable.
