  Very small rooms, but clean and comfortable. Quiet location except for two guard dogs next door!! Adequate breakfast. Recommend for inexpensive overnight in a country that is expensive. - The hotel is comfortable and clean. Very silent too.

On arrival we received a nice welcome and our room key without delay. The room, though a little dated was spotlessly clean and fresh.   Friendly staff. Gave me biker mate a free coffee on Sun morning! Got thebooking at short notice so very glad of any bed at that stage :] - professional staff and clean room. Good breakfast in restaurant, but fairly poor if ordered to room.

  It is the first time I have stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world and the description of the hotel and facilities have been accurate. A very enjoyable stay and the food was excellent. - We only stayed one night however the hotel building, an old abbey isamazing and rooms and staff to a very high standard. Great Deal thanks!

The beautiful bedroom was air-conditioned - lovely after the scorching temperatures outside! The room was really quiet overnight and the big double bed so comfortable.   L'Oustal is a great place to stay and within a short walk to Bourges centre. We arrived on a very wet evening and was warmly greeted by Sophie, who gave us great information on Bourges and a map, which was great as we were only there for one night. We stayed in the Coco Chanel room which was beautiful,very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfa... what people say » st was good and plentiful and we hope to return to spend a few days so we can see Bourges hopefully without the rain. - Owner Sophie was a charming hostess who made us feel instantly at home. The whole house is beautifully decorated yet comfortable. Breakfast with all the guests around the same table also added to the relaxed, friendly feeling of staying in a French country home. We were offered the use of a couple of bicycles too which enabled us to enjoy the city and surrounds even more. A wonderful stay.

The location is excellent, easy walking distance to the centre where restuarants abound .   I traveled through the town of Bourges last year abnd was so facinated by the old city that I wanted to return. I saw the hotel online and it sounded interesting. I reeived an email from the owners questioning if I realy wantted an appartment as that is what i had booked. They have both appartments for longer staying guests, and standard rooms ... what people say » for those staying one or two nights. I was moved into the hotel whih was appointed quite well with period furnishings and a very comfortable bed. I - Receptionist and owner were both extremely helpful in suggesting things to see. The location is wonderful and parking is really secure. You must book to guarantee one of the limited spaces but there is plenty of free parking nearby. we stayed inLles Tours which is up a flight and a half of stairs not a problem for 63 year olds but bear in mind. Good breakfast delivered to room which made a nice change. The renovation has been done very well, and its a real treasure store but still good value an

Our room and bathroom was very large and comfortable. We were given a private piano recital in the beautiful theatre. The pool and breakfast were superb. We were escorted to a fantastic restaurant by the owner and introduced, where we had a the best meal of our two week holiday at a very reasonable cost.
