Great hotel - have been before and are always impressed. Location is perfect for all the fantastic restaurants and superb food market on Saturdays. We were given an upgrade as it was my husband 60th birthday and stayed in a beautiful suite. The hotel is very tastefully designed and the bedrooms are very modern and clean with great granite showers, big comfy beds and beautiful cotton sheets! The breakfasts are excellent with good coffee, great bread and choice of meats and cheeses plus fruits,.
all reviews » Wonderful hotel, located in the heart of the city center. It's new and cosy, with a very nice and friendly design. We stayed for 7 days in a very spacious room. Linens and bathroom towels were changed daily. Personnel was wonderful and breakfast was more than delocious. Very good departing point for visiting Brittany. Everything excellent and very modern; parking a little demanding and finding way to hotel made difficult by one way system, otherwise, superb. Excellent position in the heart of St Brieuc within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants. Room extremely quiet and comfortable. The hotel was well placed downtown by the main market square. Comfortable rooms, good decor. Reasonably priced. Seemed very new and freshly refurbished to a high standard. Lovely lighting and comfortable bed. Location clean room. Be nice to have tea and coffee in the room. Parking in front of the hotel a little bit expensive (10 euros/ night). However we found a free parking very close to the hotel (close to the Saint Michel cathedral). Nothing. As we had luggage for a one week stay our room had no wardrobe and only short hanging rail with two hangers and no drawers. We offered to pay to upgrade our room but nothing else available but the staff did find us more coat hangers which is all they could do in the circumstances. No restaurant during the weekend - St Brieuc very poor for dining places. St Brieuc is dead as a doornail :(. ...would have loved to have had tea making facilities in the room. The shower was a bit 'style over function' and nearly sprayed into the bedroom. (not really a complaint...we had come from a camping trip!). It was all good. Small 'chambre' with no wardrobe to hang clothes or tea making facilities. The shower was a 'wet room' and spray went everywhere!. No advanced warning that onsite parking would be unavailable due to event in front of hotel. ... Not really. Restaurant, it was closed!.
