The design of the rooms was excellent, plenty of space. Didier was very friendly and eager to please. We exchanged emails beforehand and although his English is not good we had his son in law as interpreter. The location within the town is excellent - very quiet. He cooked us a super dinner with more than enough alcohol for EUR25 - fantastic. Proximity to Chimay a plus.
Everything was perfect! It's a charming hotel in our way to Reims. We stay in Matisse room, a huge room decorated with Matisse paintings and books about the painter. The owner was really nice and makes you feel home. He thinks in every detail to make confortable your stay. The breakfast was really nice also, all organic products. Lovely large rooms; very comfortable beds; spacious and clean bathroom. Didier the host was very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious - lovely local breads and organic jams/spreads.
