  Just stayed one night here, as a stopover on the way to Italy, and glad we chose here, instead of a motorway hotel. It's only a mile or two from the motorway, but is very secluded and next to a gorgeous lake and mountains. The room was quite basic, but all we needed. The food in the hotel was fantastic. This hotel would be lovely in the summer, bu... what people say » t was a bit cold when we visited to go swim in the lake - A great location, with very helpful staff. The restaurant overlooks the lake, and the food is superb. Also, when we did not understand something on the menu, the chef took us into the kitchens to show us, demonstrating his pride in his food, and his confidence in the cleanliness of the kitchen; both justified.

  We needed a base for one night near Moutiers to enable us to get in an extra days skiing. It worked great. The hotel had a "film theme" which was subtle but very good. Our room was very clean and we ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was great and it had a family atmosphere. - Excellent Location, clean rooms, nice hotel.
