  The owner was really friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to help us find a particular bank, and print a map for us to find it. We went there for the wonderful Nuit des Chimeres, an evening light show in the old city, which was stunning. - The hotel is a bit older but nicely remodeled. Quite comfortable and centrally located.   I only had an overnight stay. The room was very clean and had everythingI needed including tv and tea/coffee making facilities. I had previouslystayed at the Campanile hotel in Bayeaux and that was one of the reasonsI chose Campanile again - Good food

  The member of staff on duty was extremely helpful, polite and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was so compfy I had a very quiet and pleasant sleep. I cant recommend this hotel enough, I aim to stay here again on my next stop in France. The location was excellent right off the main motorway. The town is down the road so very handy for exploring the area. - This was one of the most comfortable hotels we have stayed at. We were effectively welcomed into the owners' home (which is a very grand castle) and treated as a member of their family for the duration of our stay. We also loved the free flowing drinks in the beautiful lounge area prior to our evening meal and met some lovely people at that time. A stunning chateau hotel and one which we would love to return to.

  Ideal overnight stop on our way south and also on the way home. Easy to find. We had a dog with us and we were given a room which accessed straight from the car park which was perfect. Probably the best bed we have ever slept in and I am trying to source the same in the UK. Food was good, nothing special but fine for an overnight stay. This one in particular is remarkable as it sits within 50 metres of the Le Mans circuit: it would be an amazing place to stay while the 24 Heures is happening (though it's already booked out for 2014).
