Belle Ile, the island of extremes. already the crossing sat accents - the sea greeted us in its wildest form. Not far from the ferry terminal in La Palais we found our B & B where we were going to recover from the exertions of the last few months - Maison de Stermaria.

We had an amazing stay. The guest house is situated close to the main port (Le Palais) and offers a breathtaking view on the ocean. The owners were really friendly and shared with us useful tips to discover Belle-Ile. The room was arranged with taste and was also very comfortable. You wake up every morning with a great view on the ocean from your bed and have then the best breakfast of the island! I highly recommend Maison de Stermaria for a good rest.

Very clean. Ian (Yian) the host very friendly and even though his english is limited he tries to help with things to do and see. He is also accommodating in that he allowed us to have cheese and wine on the patio in the evening and provided plates and glasses.

La Trinite Sur Mer is the one of many towns we visited and one of the most impressive. Quay is worth to be seen. You can see all these impressive tides throughout the windows of your room. House is fool of interesting things, pictures, photos etc. Thank you. -
