  Our family had a very positive experience during our stay. Great location - short taxi ride from train station; very friendly, helpful staff - from the front desk, breakfast room to housekeeping staff - all are extremely friendly and helpful! Hotel is perfectly located for those wanting to explore the Chateau Blois and the "old city". Shops, cafes... what people say » and restaurants all within walking distance. All of us would recommend this hotel to all travellers - if looking for an authentic "old" European expe - The hotel was in a wonderful location right in the centre of Blois but with easy parking nearby. When we booked, the proprietor sent a personal email welcoming us and this was typical of the whole style of the hotel which was friendly, cheerful and welcoming. The hotel is in an old, very characterful building said to have belonged originally to the Dukes of Guise, and the owners have kept a lot of character while making sure that it is comfortable and modern where it needs to be.   We had a young child with us and the staff provided a brand new cot thatwe put up in the room. We liked the location and friendliness so muchthat we booked again for our return trip. - Far from gorgeous but well facilitated for family with small children. Friendly staffs. Casual restaurant.   Used as an overnight stop travelling to Spain. Although situated on within a commercial area it was easy to find a short distance from the main road. It was quiet and comfortable and while not luxury it was good value for money being I consider budget hotel. Staff were attentive and although english speaking welcomed our attempted french!   Room was better than expected for price. Very clean, functional and spacious enough for family of five. The 'family room' is effectively two adjoining rooms to sleep 3. Each contains a double bed and top bunk bed overhead. Shower/toilet is basic but perfectly usable cabin unit within the room. Dog allowed which was great and also Wifi in room was perfect. Tip, try the Pat-a-pain nearby for breakfast, it is amazing!

  my son & I stayed overnight on a business trip & was very impressed and so sruprised by the luxury of 2 separate bedrooms which were very comfortable & for us extremely quiet which gave us an excellent night sleep. We stayed in the outside apartments which were in a lovely location.   very good value for money, close to the city centre - Nice colour scheme of room although the double room for 2 persons ismeant for 1 person. They just added in a bed which makes the room a bitcramped. The coffee cups were real tiny
