Kitchen facilities were basic but had enough equipment to put together meals. Large, spacious room with a couch which was a nice treat. - Staff were incredibly accommodating , friendly and helpful.   The staff were incredibly helpful. We arrived late (after the reception had closed) and I aws cocncerned we would not have a room. However a key had been left for us with clear instructions etc. - Modern, clean building and grounds. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.

  This was a real gem of a surprise - we thought because of the price it wouldn't be as nice as the pictures but it exceeded our expectations! We got the four poster apartment and the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was like a mini spa with a standing bath tub and open shower perfect for a good nights sleep and night of relaxation. The break... what people say » fast was cute and good quality with homemade jam and fresh coffee/juice but you may be hungry again after a couple of hours! Also the host was so love - Everything! Yuka was a most gracious and thoughtful hostess. Her breakfasts including home made jams are a must. Everything is meticulously maintained and clean.The room is gorgeous with dark wood floors and furniture, including a large 4 poster bed, beautiful Japanese screen and lovely decorative pieces in the room.   The owner was wonderfully helpful . The gardens were so gorgeous & peaceful . Both restaurants were excellent & it was lovely to have the choice of fine or bistro dining .   The location and the efficiency of the little apartment was good. I wish the weather had allowed me to use the "garden" which I thought looked so peaceful. - the location was very good only a short walk into the main streets,the girl at the tourism office was excellent,we would stay here again

  Room was beautiful with a huge bathroom which housed an amazing claw footed bath, sinks, separate toilet and a table and chairs with cup and tea and coffee making facilities. Pool area, very relaxing (although we were bitten by mosquitoes). We arrived around 1.30 and we were able to go to our room, but when we asked if we could have lunch we were... what people say » told 'no finis' and offered a McDonalds 16km away! We had an exquisite meal in the gourmet restaurant in the evening. - This was an outstanding Chateau. Beautiful decor, fabulous Service and fantastic room. The Food was even more outstanding. As we arrived late we were quite expecting to have a cold platter but the owner had the Restaurant staff wait for us and we have a super dinner with all the trimmings.... really great hotel
