    The guest house is situated in a very old building in the town centre. It was recently renovated, refurbished and equipped in a morden way. It's very stylish and makes the feeling of Normandy and Honfleur even stronger. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. Besides Friench she speaks good English, Spanish and some other languages. Natalya, St.Petersbur - The owner of this establishment has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Our room was huge with a very comfortable bed & pillows. Little touches like having the fire lit when we arrived home at night, tea/coffee facilities available, lots of books, music & dvd's to browse through. Nothing was too much trouble including good advice on where to eat, what sights to see etc. A very charming residence.

    This is a lovely Chambre d'Hotes, in a beautifully restored old building around courtyards, decorated in French country style, and very chic. It is very close to the town centre and picturesque harbour, but is quiet and peaceful inside. The staff are friendly, very helpful, and available all day. The bedrooms were comfortable, warm, very pretty, with en suite - It was a wonderful and charming little hotel converted from an old girls school. The young couple there in the day spoke good English and were very helpful, and the woman around in the morning was very charming and helpful despite not speaking English. Breakfast was in the courtyard on a sunny morning. The room was charming and had wooden beams. A real fantastic place where we spent one night, centrally located next to the marina and an abundance of restaurants.

    I can't say enough good things about La Naomath. The setting was peaceful and beautiful, and just a few minutes' drive to the town center of Bayeux. The cottage was so cute, roomy, very clean, and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, even bringing us breakfast on our first morning as we had arrived after the stores ... what people say » had closed the night before. (We were staying in the self- catering cottage where breakfast was not included). They refused to let us pay for all the - We liked everything. The owners were very nice and friendly. We stayed in the family room which was quite large (one large bedroom and a sitting room). It had one full bath with a shower and another room with a sink which was helpful. The garden was beautiful. It was very peaceful and quiet. It was a perfect location for the D-Day sites (you must have a car). The breakfast was good. Everything was clean and tidy.     My husband and I stayed at Le Castel, Noble Guesthouse in Bayeux for 3 nights. We enjoyed our stay. Our room was on the third floor (there's no elevator), simple but nicely decorated. The location was excellent---walking distance from the train station, very close to the town center, the cathedral was right in front of the house. We really liked - Madame was absolutely the perfect host, leaving us alone enough to not be rude, but interacting when comfortable and appropriate to do so.     This was an excellent overnight stop both going and returning from our holiday. My family of 5 where easily accommodated within a beautiful room. La Vieille Ferme is a well run B+B. It is located within the countryside but close enough to the main A88 motorway. It is clean, well kept and nothing was too much trouble. The couple who run it are very friendly and clearly put their heart into running a succes - The owners were welcoming. The lounge area had many books and brochures, as well as wifi. Good breakfast - we were offered delicious scrambled eggs from the resident hens. Twin room suited us (mother & adult son). Situated where we wanted to be, but also easily reachable from the Caen ferry so could be a useful overnight stop before heading south.

    It was a delightful 5 night stay at a good price. Quaint village and beautiful hotel in quiet garden setting. Nice room though 3 stories of stairs to climb. Host and hostess were wonderful and so helpful though limited in English. Breakfast was delicious each morning and so enjoyable. Ryes is a very small country town in Normandy but it is central to all the D-Day sights (most are within 1 hour drive) and you can go to a nearby town on Gold Beach for great restaurants by the sea. The owner is very friendly and the rooms are well appointed.

    Bayeux is a picturesque town in Normandy and I'm so happy we chose La Tour Louise as our base for exploring the region. William, our host, was very hospitable and gave excellent tips on things to see and do. In fact, the places he pointed out to us were probably the highlights of our tour of the D-Day sites.     We loved this place and Aline was a wonderful host. In addition to preparing one of the best B& B breakfasts we have had (on fine china with silver) she was very friendly and extremely valuable in helping us plan our days.     We really enjoyed our two night stay in Bayeux, the highlight of which was staying at this wonderful B&B. Run with loving and personal care by Carol and Jerome, the place is charming. It is extremely conveniently located to the old city center, including the Bayeux tapestry and cathedral, and is a great base from which to visit D-Day sites. ... what people say » Our room was spacious, very comfortable and nicely furnished.     This is a fantastic charming, little B&B-hotel, with only three rooms. Our room was in the attic, with a nice bed, bathroom and lovely view. The owner is so friendly and kind, and she makes very good, french breakfast. Her cat is so cute, and it made our stay very special. The hotel is located only a five minutes walk from Honfleur city centre... what people say » . The hotel also has a beautiful garden. We had breakfast outside, and in the after noons, we just sat in the garden and relaxed in the sun. - It's an idyllic place to stay, located very close to the centre of Honfleur, but at the same time hidden from all noise and fuss of a tourist attraction in a wonderful garden surrounded by walls. The house itself is old-style, full of ancient books, pictures, trinketry, etc. Delicious breakfast is served in the living room. The bathroom is very modern and convenient. We loved the place!

    Janine was a very gracious host. The accomodations were very artistically decorated. The room was fantastic with views and cross ventillating windows.     We absolutelly loved the place. As some of the prefvious reviewers said, the rooms are actually more impressive then in photos. Many romantic details, the bed is very comfortable, bath supplies by l'occitane, bathtub, tasty breakfast with freshly squeezed juise, beautiful location, and I could go on and on. Eloise and Olivier (the owners) are fantastic hosts. The property is well taken care and the breakfast are excellent. The rooms were luxurious and extremely comfortable.     Le Mont d'Auge was possibly the best B&B we ever stayed in! The property is lovely and Bob and Margaret were great hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Our room was big and comfortable and tastefully furnished (the bathroom was huge!).
