  This hotel is fantastic. We stayed here with our 6-month old and our small French bulldog for a quick one-night getaway to visit the Christmas Markets. I will say that it is hard to get to (especially this time of year when many of the streets are closed due to markets) but my husband hopped out and walked up the block to the hotel and they came a... what people say » nd waved their card and let us through straight to the hotel. The hotel itself is small but impecable. I felt like I was staying in a castle of sorts. - This place was amazing. We arrived early 4 hours early and were promptly checked in. The reception staff member was very welcoming and showed us to our room. We also met the co-owner at the end of our stay, and she was more than happy to provide a wealth of information. Wish I had gotten their names to thank them both. The location was fantastic, the building had a sense of tradition and the spa area was clean and very relaxing. I will be sure to return to this hotel.

They had hot food (eggs and ham) which I could eat - I am diabetic and stay away from carbs. Good selection of carbs for those who can eat them. Excellent staff. The proprieter and his family are very friendly, the place is very clean and comfortable and at a fantastic location right in the centre of town. The price was very good. I recommend this hotel, and in fact passed their information on to a friedn who plans to travel soon in the Alsace region. - Delightful owners. Wonderful ambience in the low ceilinged rooms oozing of history. Very pleasant breakfast at extra cost. Recommendation as to where to dine was excellent though it is unusual that the restaurant of the same name as the hotel is to be stayed away from....but all ok once explained.
