  We loved the room and the pool and the restaurant and the location - the staff are friendly and create a great ambience. Special mentions to the concierges Patrick & Ferdinand, to JeanLouis the sommelier, Guillame the maitre d' and the musicians who entertain at night. The service excellent and some of the food delicious. Bedrooms a bit small but beautifully decorated if you like oldfashioned furnishings. The concierge very knowledge and keen to advise. Very good spa but not many guest there during our stay.

  Our family had a wonderful time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The spa was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and offered a huge variety for our teenagers with varying tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave us 4 large bottles of water as we were leaving when they heard us talking about needing to find a store to buy ... what people say » some for the car. Another staff member went out of his way to find a restaurant with specific cuisine for us and printed out a map. - Room interior was superb with great selection of bath amenities. Gym was well equipped and pool facilities were extensive including steam room and sauna. Location was good - nice and quiet being in a less busy street but still close to everything.

I chose the hotel due to value for money and it's great location near the beach, shops and restaurants.   we have stayed at the Splendid Nice a number of times and have found it to always be a wonderful facility - the beds are comfortable, the restaurant is excellent and the staff is quite professional - our favorite place to stay in Nice. - Close to the sea, close to the railway station, quiet place
